Family Dinner

Last night I had family dinner at the home of my sister Janet and brother-in-law Richard. Chef Richard prepared a marvelous meal. Three delicious appetizers: hummus, salsa, a big ole stuffed artichoke. A Caesar salad. Pasta alfredo with chicken in tomato sauce.

After dinner, Richard played the piano, with John and me beating time on African drums. Janet and Lola chatted in the kitchen. Lauren wrote out thirty-six biology definitions for homework. And Patrick baked chocolate chip cookies.
